Removing the Shortcut arrow

First way =>Open Regedit, Search for IsShortcut, and delete any instances of it. Go back to your desktop, press F5, and there you go. No more little white shortcut arrows.

Second way =>Right click on desktop, select properties, select appearance, in the item window select icon, change size to 30, click on apply and the arrows are gone.
